Our Mission

The mission of Rotary International, a worldwide association of Rotary clubs, is to provide service to others, to promote high ethical standards, and to advance world understanding, goodwill, and peace through its fellowship of business, professional, and community leaders.

Several Rotary Club members volunteered for the United Way of the River Cities event, Reading Across River Cities on November 15. Here, Alys Smith and club member Carol Bailey are shown reading to students at CK Elementary.

RARC placed volunteers in every third-grade classroom in Cabell, Lincoln, Mason and Wayne counties in West Virginia, and Lawrence County, Ohio, serving 2,500 students in 55 elementary schools.

Two volunteers visited each classroom, each reading aloud one of the first two chapters of the classic Charlotte’s Web. Each student received a copy of the book and a bookmark.

Meeting Schedule

The Rotary Club of Huntington generally meets every Monday, at noon, at the Cellar Door Restaurant. A light lunch is available and guests are welcome. We do not meet on Federal Holidays

What Is Rotary?

Rotarians bring intelligence, financial resources and willing hearts to help others grow, become more healthy, support themselves and build stronger relationships with others. Rotarians create meaning for life.

Who Are We?

When we see a need, we don’t just look — we organize and take action to make this community, region, and world better because we are here. We are religiously, politically, and financially diverse. We act in unity and feel like a second family to each other.

Why Join Huntington Rotary?

To bring goodness to others… to do business with people you know and trust… to develop relationships with community business and civic leaders… to develop leadership and speaking skills… to gain exposure to diverse cultures and beliefs.
